There’s always several great finds on the Just Art Pottery New Arrivals page. The new year has, of course, brought new additions. Take a look:

Vibrant, colorful and vivid – these are the words that best describe the Pillin Pottery Art Deco Vase. This fiery vase incorporates Chinese reds, yellows and oranges. The black glaze provides a beautiful contrast. The vase is in mint condition with absolutely no flaws of any kind and the bottom is marked “Pillin” with the artist signing “W+P”. It measures 6 1/4” in height and is 4 3/4” wide. It’s truly a contemporary piece that is right at home for those love this style of art pottery and as it happens, this is just one of three Pillin Pottery pieces available now.

For those who appreciate Rookwood Pottery and high gloss glazes, the early Rookwood vase, with light greens and yellows, is going to be difficult to pass up. Decorated by Albert Valentien in 1885, this vase incorporates a bird on a branch; the detailing is flawless. It’s in excellent condition and has a few “glaze pops” in the body. There are no indications of it being a second. It’s marked “ROOKWOOD, 1885, 30 and cipher for Albert Valentien”. It’s a remarkable piece.

Finally, there are several new Ephraim Faience Pottery pieces available too, including the Ephraim Faience Pottery Mountain Wildflower Vase. As the title indicates, its textured decorations include mountain wildflowers that are slightly highlighted with a green/yellow glaze. The vase, in mint condition, measures 7 1/4” in height and 3 1/2” wide. It’s a wonderful addition to any Ephraim Faience collection.

Since we’re on the subject of Ephraim Faience, the 2001 Grueby style vase is another distinctive piece. It too is in mint condition with the bottom marked with the logo and production marks for 2001. It’s also stamped Laura Klein. It measures 3 1/4” in height and is 4” wide.

As always, these are just a very few of the finds you’ll discover on the Just Art Pottery New Arrivals page. No matter when you browse, you’re sure to find a new gem that’s perfect for your collection.
